Tea Party Express rolls again!
September 24th, 2009 . by Tim WisdomThe Tea Party Express is preparing to take to the road again. Beginning on October 25th the bus that became famous for its trip across America, culminating on 9/12 in Washington, D.C., will start rolling again. A new route and destination are planned this time. The new nationwide trip will wind up with a rally in Orlando, FL on November 11th, Veterans Day. Billed as “Tea Party Express: Countdown to Judgment Day”, it will serve as a reminder of the upcoming elections in 2010.
Election Day in 2010 is being referred to as “Judgment Day” by many Americans that have become disgruntled by the lack of responsiveness by their elected officials. Democrats, Republicans and Independents alike have voiced their displeasure at the dismissive attitudes of those they sent to Washington to represent them. Adding fuel to that fire are the divisive comments made by Congressional leaders. Epithet’s like brown shirts, Astroturf, Nazi’s and teabaggers have been used against Patriotic Americans simply because they’re concerned about the direction in which America is being taken.
