About Tim
Born and raised in New England, Tim Wisdom now makes his home in the Upper Cumberland region of Tennessee.
I’ve written, under several pseudonyms, for a variety of media, primarily part time. Starting with my High School and College papers, I moved onto magazines, small local newspapers and even wrote radio copy. I found that I enjoyed writing opinion pieces, more than any other type of journalism, and decided to start a blog of my own.
Although I was raised a Liberal Democrat, I eventually rejected their ideas and, as an adult, became a Conservative. I share many of the values of Americans like Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, Samuel Adams and Ronald Reagan, all of who I admire.
Some of the things I believe in include:
- The greatness of the United States of America.
- An original intent examination of the Constitution.
- That the 2nd Amendment secures all the others.
- Personal responsibility.
- Conservationism, not environmental extremism.
- Freedom of religion, not freedom from it.
- Giving a hand up, not a handout.
- That Jesus Christ is my personal Savior.
